Exclusive: A Chat with Martine Harris, The Essense Group’s Head Designer, on 2025 Bridal Trends

I am Aine Delaney, owner of La Bella Sposa bridal Boutique in Swords. I had the privilege to meet and have a quick chat with Martine Harris at Bridal Fashion week last September. Martine Harris is the head Designer for the Essense Group. The Essense group sells wedding dresses all over the world and You would know their design labels as Martina Liana, Essence of Australia, Stella York and All Who Wander.
 
We love these gowns in our store and it was lovely to chat to Martine about the gorgeous wedding dresses we already have and her new gowns and trends for 2025.
 
We talked about Victorian bodices with a modern touch, like exposed boning finished in soft lace or in a clean classic. Martine said “I love to take these pieces of history and make them feel fresh and new. Martine talked about old Hollywood glamour, how she loves to layer dramatic 3D flowers with clean fabrics for that ultimate red carpet look. We also talked about how pearls, satin and silk jacquards and fine lace is a big trend for 2025/2026.
